I am fortunate enough that since going to university, my good friends from high school and myself still make it a point to spend quality time together whenever we get the chance. It has been a tradition for nearly six years to have a Christmas Party, seeing as everyone is on holiday and has time then; however this year we introduced a new tradition during our summer break away from school- a garden party! Most of us love any excuse to get dressed up, and love spending time outdoors, thus the UK-inspired Garden Party was born!

This year we each brought dishes and desserts to share. I brought lemon and lavender cupcakes, Tiffany inspired meringue cookies, and another secret snack that I will be sharing with you on Thursday. (Stay tuned!) We played games, like badminton, sipped lemonade and tea, chatted for hours, and even had an encounter with a bear! Overall it was a splendid time, and I can't wait for future events; especially those where it is required that I get all dressed up! Would you like to see GRWM posts and videos in the future for such occasions? Perhaps more chatty/vlog style ones. ;)

Since I was having such a lovely time at the party with my best pals, I didn't end up getting any solo photos of myself, since I was acting as the photographer for the group, or decorations, etc, other than a few crummy quality ones from snapchat. Mainly, I was too busy just enjoying the present and the presence of my friends. There will be a DIY up in either a week or two that features the gorgeous garden location and this outfit, though, so stay tuned for that, as well.

Hope you've enjoyed my first GRWM! Have you been to any fun summery events these last few months?
