Transition to Fall

Happy Autumnal Equinox!!

Once again my favourite season is upon us. Booyahhh. Time to break out the sweaters and scarves! Well maybe not quite yet...

It is still September, which means the temperature has cooled down; however not enough to layer and wear full-on fall clothes, BUT I can certainly add the autumn colours back into my wardrobe! Bring on the burgundy, navy, army green, and mustard yellow. *becomes all giddy* I just love fall colours! They are deep rich tones that just so happen to go well with my oh so pale skin. There's also a sort of elegance and class to darker tones. I guess they seem more mature than vivid and intense colours (like neons) if that makes sense.

Earlier today was crummy and rainy. The sky was overcast and grey, which made for bright greenery in contrast, but everything else was soooo dull. Around the time the rain stopped it became pretty humid, but soon went back to a comfortable level. Now there's a consistent breeze, which is quite nice actually. The sun is high in the sky. It really feels like fall. In this aspect of today, it went from bleurgh to agreeable. Unfortunately I have a splitting headache that I shall blame on the weather, or more specifically the barometric pressure. Mother Nature, please don't go through every possible weather scenario in one day! Stick with one; preferably the sunshine and breeze combination! Thankfully that's how it is now, so maybe my headache will go away soon.

I received the nicest compliment this morning, though, so that made the gross part of my day so much better! This stranger walks up to me and says I'm "stunningly beautiful" and that she can see the happiness in my eyes. I tend to not be referred to as "stunningly beautiful," and to hear that is utterly flattering. What I appreciate most about this comment, though, is the part about happiness. I'd like to think I'm a generally happy person and to have someone recognize that is kind of cool! They say happiness and positivity are contagious, so hopefully others will have manifested those feelings based on my vibes! Spread the positivity!!

Another good part of today is of course my outfit. Today is the day I begin transitioning into my autumn clothes! Since it's a comfortable temperature for a tank top, I opted to wear one. To seem more fall-like, I chose a navy top. Conveniently that top matches my favourite navy wool hat. I'm also wearing my favourite boyfriend jeans and some strappy sandals! This outfit is perfect for this in-between weather and has allowed me to flaunt fall fashion!

For the helluvit, I decided to experiment with my makeup today. I created a smokey burgundy eye with a pale pink lip. My goal was to really make the eyes be the focus and seem entrancing. Ooo ahhh. Luckily, red hues pop against my blue eyes!
