Creme de la Creme a la Edgar


Remember the Aristocats movie? Remember the drink left for the kitties to lap that would make them take a nap? Well turns out it's a thing- minus the sleeping meds. When I discovered this, I was over the moon about it. Not only was that one of my favorite movies growing up, but as the months get cooler, I yearn for something warm to fill my belly and radiate all over. How perfect that I've discovered a drink from something that only brings on great memories?  Whether I'm home or at Uni, this drink is very comforting and satisfying. And it is a super simple beverage to make that all ages can enjoy. If you have little ones, wouldn't it be perfect to pop in the movie and enjoy this drink with some cookies?

Ingredients
Milk (any kind)
Vanilla Extract
Sugar
Nutmeg
Cinnamon
(optional) Ritz Crackers or cookies

Steps
1. Heat up a mug of milk in the microwave or in a pan on the stove.
2. Once the milk is warm and in the mug, add 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/2 tablespoon of nutmeg, and 1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon. (adjust depending on how sweet or spicey you prefer).
3. Stir, get some cookies handy, and enjoy!

    I loved the Aristocats growing up and I always wanted to be able to try this and now I'm so happy that I can! Definitely going to have to re-watch the Aristocats while drinking this.
