The Christmas Tag

Between being a full-time student with finals coming up and working part-time, I'm honestly baffled by the fact that I've so far blogged everyday this December. Though I've technically completed this challenge thus far, it was not quite to the quality I was hoping for. On my schedule I had so many crafts and thoughtful posts planned out, but due to the fact that I'm at school, I'm lacking the supplies and time needed to execute them. This will hopefully change once I'm home, though! One more week! I have every intention of finishing Blogmas strong! For this month of blogging I wanted to make an effort not to fall back on doing tags, because I imposed a standard on myself, but in all honesty, I'm beyond tired and overwhelmed right now due to school, so this is what I can manage at the moment. Also, the next few posts will be going up at random times, much like today's, since I'm having to prioritize other responsibilities over them (final projects, work, etc). Hope ya understand, my lovelies!

1. What is your favorite Christmas Movie(s)?
"Love Actually"... hands down.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
One on Christmas Eve (bit of a tease, eh?) and the rest on Christmas morning.

3. Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?
My memories of Christmas pasts are all wonderful ones in their own right. A few of my faves involve my immediate and extended family playing Pictionary. That was always loads of fun!

4. Favorite festive food?
Can gingerbread and eggnog count??

5. Favorite Christmas gift?
Oh gosh, there are so many! As a child, I was extremely excited to unwrap a my-size barbie, which had been a doll I wanted for years. As for recently, I'd have to say my new ski equipment.

6. Favorite Christmas scent?
I have two faves! A birch tree one and a nordic pine one. Clearly I'm liking the tree scents.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
My parents, brother, and I go to church. When we get home we all change into our pjs and pop in a Christmas film. Afterwards, we each open one gift.

8. What tops your tree?
An angel

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
An elf for my leprechaun friend to play with... I had quite the imagination in my youth. :)

10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
Definitely seeing my family. As I've gotten older, family visits have become less frequent. With my extended family and my immediate family living somewhat far from each other, and the fact that life gets in the way sometimes, it's harder to make that time to spend with each other unfortunately. But because of that I always look forward to holidays and cherish that time we do get to spend together.

Hope you enjoyed this tag!
