Before I head out, I thought I'd unveil the mystery within the box I bring. The theme is a pamper evening. Seeing as we all survived our finals from last week, I wanted to give a sort of reward for that. Like "Congrats! You did it! Now treat yo self."
Non-alcoholic wine
Ideally I'd be able to give a nice White Zinfandel, or some wine to take the edge off, but none of us are 21 yet, so the best I could do was get sparkling juice. It's the thought that counts, right? ;)
Wine glass
Well they need something to drink the juice with...
Three candles
Mood lighting is just as essential to a pamper evening as the beverage. These candles came unscented in a set of three. As a quick festive touch, I added a stripe of glitter to each candle. For this DIY, all that's needed is tape, a brush, mod podge, and glitter.
1) Wrap the tape around the candle above where you want the glitter.
2) Apply the glue.
3) Roll the candle through the glitter, or sprinkle it on.
Lush goodies
You cannot having a pamper evening without Lush products. Included is Peeping Santa and Butterbear; two of my favorites for this time of year. If you'd like a review of either of these, let me know!
Cost of this gift: $17 (only $2 over budget!)
Have you ever been to a Yankee Swap? Would you be excited to unwrap this gift?
