Yellow is probably one of the most underrated colors when it to comes to coordinating it into a look. It is thought to be uncomplimentary to all but a few skin tones. However that isn't the case at all! Maybe I'm biased because yellow is in fact my favorite color, but yellow is quite an easy pop to incorporate into an outfit. It's all about injecting small doses of this sunny shade into a look. Check out what's on my wishlist:
This piece certainly isn't a subtle touch of yellow, since it makes up the entire dress; however this shade is basic and simple to style. Given that this A-line lace dress is more of a mustard shade, it is suitable for a wide variety a skin tones. Also, how pretty are the lace sunflowers?!
Lately I've been loving bags like this one. This petite over-the-shoulder bag has a bit of a mod feel to it, which if you've been around for a while then you'll know how much I appreciate vintage looking pieces. This bright yellow paired with the leather finish makes for a super sweet lil accessory!
Scarves are such a staple. There are unlimited ways to style these small stretches of fabric. Whether it's around your neck or even tied to your bag, this chiffon yellow and floral scarf would be a delicate addition to any classic look.
These tassel earrings are everywhere at the moment. If I'm honest, I wasn't a fan of them at first; however now I love the little pizzazz they add. The are a simple way to frame your face with a pop of color. Personally I'd rather the tassel earrings made of string over beads like these ones, but you get the idea.
Espadrilles are everything! They scream summer with the braided sole. These particular ones are precious with the lace-up detail and closed toe. They're like summery pointe shoes!
How would you add yellow to your wardrobe?
Lots of love,
Moll
