I've found Lush to be one of those very reliable brands that if something is guaranteed, there is assurance in that. As stated on the label, this mask is meant to cleanse and soothe. As expected, it did just that! One of the main ingredients in this mask is calamine powder. This natural powder is meant to be a topical ointment to alleviate imperfections, even out skin tone, and calm. Calamine serves all of those benefits for the medical world, but also provides advantages when using it for pamper purposes. With the use of calamine, this mask absolutely soothes, leaves the skin feeling fresh, and even reduces the "rosiness" on the cheeks.
While this mask is on, it leaves the wearer in a floral dream. With rose oil, rose petals, and rose clay, the Rosy Cheeks mask smells distinctly and authentically of rose. It is absolutely lovely. It's like being enveloped by the sweetness of a garden. The rose clay not only contributes to that refreshing scent, but also gives the feeling of grime being lifted away from the skin when washing off. While the clay does feel a bit dense on, it provides the cleanse, while the calamine soothes. Combined, this makes for a perfect pair.
Though pricey at $12.95, the Rosy Cheeks mask is quite the treat, and I highly recommend it.
Have you tried any of the Lush face masks? Which is your favorite?
