You may have seen this post with my Molly McIntire costume that I didn't get to wear to a party, as it was cancelled. You may be wondering who I went as to the other party, though, and that would be Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's! This party was themed "celebrity or movie couples," so my bf and I wanted to do something simple. We thought about James Bond and a Bond girl, Jim and Pam, Jack and Rose, but ended up with Holly and Paul.
This pairing was ideal because we could pull from items in our wardrobes very easily. I had an oversized button down dress and the eye mask already, and only needed to purchase the tassel earrings. Cam sported a button down and a grey business suit. And thus this iconic duo was born! Very budget-friendly costumes!
If I'm honest, Halloween isn't one of my favorite holidays. I don't care to decorate my space in spooky Halloween decor nor do I go all out with costumes. Usually it's pretty low-key, and I'm ok with that! The annual parties, like yesterday's, are always a blast and everyone has a great time. Though I'm not one to drop serious coin on a costume, I do love getting creative and working with what I have in my wardrobe to formulate an outfit, like this Holly one.
It couldn't have been more perfect for this preppy gal. Who wouldn't want to channel the icon that is Audrey Hepburn, too?! With that, Halloween 2021 is over. What a fun one it was!
